This past weekend, Scotiabank Nuit Blanche returned to downtown Toronto streets for a 5th successful year. Nuit Blanche, meaning sleepness night in French brings together hundreds of artists and their exhibitions are installed throughout the city in (and on) buildings and public spaces. Close to a million people take in Nuit Blanche which officially started at Sunset on Saturday, October 2nd and concludes at sunrise on Sunday.

Chevrolet was a proud supporter of Nuit Blanche this year and we took the unique opportunity to preview the 2011 Chevrolet Cruze - the all new sub-compact thats making it's Canadian premiere.

But just like the Cruze, and in keeping with the spirit of Nuit Blance, Chevrolet found an innovative way to come to the party - CRUZE Remix - our own unique installation where driving met art.  Curated by a local Toronto artist, people who visited Cruze Remix had the chance to test drive a Cruze within a closed track specifically constructed for the night.  While the person is navigating the course cameras installed in & out of the car record the driver at the same time DJ's under the direction of a visual artist then mash-up all these sounds and images to create a personal video - uploaded to YouTube and Facebook where it can be forever shared with friends.

Hundreds of people experienced CRUZE Remix that evening, and even more danced till dawn.
